As part of the construction of the 110 kV Circuit Line South Albania, two new substations, Orikum 110/35/20 kV and Himare 110/35/20 kV, have been put into operation.
The substations are part of the 110 kV transmission line project for southern Albania (110 kV Circuit Line South Albania) funded by the German Development Bank KfW. The end user or buyer of the substation is the OSHEE - the distribution system operator of Albania, which is in the phase of intensive investments and works on the renewal of energy facilities.
